I have a Retro 30 and a ET65. I like the ET65 better, the Retro 30 is pretty harsh, something like a V30 but worse. Are you saying that WGS put that annoying high-mid spike back on the Retro 30? I would like a speaker that eliminates the V30's high mids To my ears the Retro30 has little in common with either standard or Marshall V30. It's thicker, woolier and less bright.
